About PrepPick

PrepPick, also known by its tagline Ready & Rooted, is an independent guide to emergency preparedness and off-grid living gear.

It started with a simple frustration: the best reviews of water jugs, power stations, first aid kits and winter boots are scattered across dozens of sites. PrepPick puts the top-rated pick from each trusted reviewer in one place, with the source named and the price checked by hand.

The site is run by its founder, Troy. Where no independent review exists, his own recommendations are clearly labeled "Troy's pick".

What you'll find here
